Harbour application for seasonal berthing

Our harbour is typically full over the summer season; however it is important that you apply should you wish a space, particularly on the pontoon and regardless of having berthed in the harbour in the previous season.  We do give priority to those that berthed in the previous year and should they not wish to take a berth we would seek to fill the capacity from our waiting list.  With respect to the waiting list we do try and accommodate based on the length of time on the waiting list, but due to practical issues around capacity and configuration on the pontoon, it isn’t always possible to do so.  Please also note that during the shoulder season (April, May and September), if your allocated berth is known to be free, then we reserve the right to offer the berth to a day visitor vua the online booking form.

Summer season: 1st April to 30th September

Winter season: 1 October to 31 March

Notes for harbour users

Due to operating at full seasonal capacity, no application forms for 2026 are currently being accepted but please complete to ensure you are entered onto our waiting list.

Our Privacy Notice on how we handle you data can be read below.

When using the harbour facility please ensure that you are aware of the current harbour rules (see below), you will have agreed to adhere to them as part of your application process but may wish to familiar yourself with them again as we make periodic updates to them.  Of note is that you give the Harbourmaster notice of when you will launch and retrieve your vessel and giving the Harbour Trust the ability to market vacant space on the pontoon.
